Blocklist
The blocklist keeps services you don’t want to sell out of your store. Open Blocklist to see the rules that apply to you and to add your own.
There are two kinds of rule:
- Platform-wide rules are set by the platform for every business. You can see them but can’t remove them.
- Your rules apply only to your store. You can add and remove them at any time.
What a rule matches
Section titled “What a rule matches”| Type | Matches |
|---|---|
| Category | The provider’s category, exactly. For an SMS number, this is the app’s name, e.g. Telegram. |
| Service ID | The provider’s own ID for a service, exactly. For an SMS number, it’s the app and country codes, e.g. tg:6. |
| Keyword | Any part of the service’s name, ignoring upper and lower case. An SMS number is named like Telegram — Indonesia, so a keyword can block an app or a country by name. |
| App | An SMS app by the provider’s code, e.g. tg for Telegram on HeroSMS. |
| Country | An SMS country by the provider’s code, e.g. 6 for Indonesia on HeroSMS. |
To block an SMS app or country by name, use a Category or Keyword rule. App and Country rules need the provider’s code.
When a rule applies
Section titled “When a rule applies”A rule applies at once, in three places:
- New services from your provider that match a rule never reach your review list under Services, so they can’t be added to your catalog.
- Services already in your catalog that match a rule disappear from your customers’ order forms. Under Services, they show as Blocked by the blocklist.
- Orders for a matching service are refused, even from a page a customer opened before the rule was added.
Removing a rule makes matching services orderable again, as long as nothing else stops them.
When the platform adds or changes a rule that blocks services in your catalog, you get a notification saying how many.
